We want you to get the care you deserve.
Depression Counseling
Depression effects over 16 million Americans every year. We provide treatment for those managing depression that ranges from temporary to chronic, mild to severe, circumstantial to biological. At Haven, we offer hope for those struggling with despair. We utilize cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and additional supportive therapies to assist anyone striving to manage the challenges that accompany depression. For those that carry the weight of depression, hope is just a call away.
Anxiety Counseling
Fear is one of the most basic human emotions. Fear and worry exist in the nucleus to anxiety. Individuals face anxiety from phobias, viruses, performance, social interactions, and a wide range of other social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical factors. The clinical team at Haven works to help clients determine the root cause of any anxiety interfering with the rhythm of daily life. By implementing evidenced-based treatment methods, the team at Haven helps individuals manage and recover from anxious thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors.
Couples Counseling
Many couples find it difficult to communicate effectively with each other and have allowed a pattern of disconnection to become their “normal”. Couples face fears that their relationship won’t work anymore, that their partner is not the right fit for them, or that they’re unable to change. With the use of specialized training in The Gottman Method and Emotionally-Focussed Therapy approaches, our team creates space for healing. Couples counseling serves to develop conflict resolution skills, increase understanding of each other’s needs, heal from past grievances, and strengthen the relationship with a strong foundation.
Youth and Adult Services
The counseling team at Haven offers services for individuals and families. We see children, pre-teens, teenagers, and adults both individually and together in group sessions as needed. Facing challenges integrating your blended family? Finding it difficult to managing familial stress? Struggling with grief or loss in the family? We can help! Please contact us if we can help you and your family in any way.
EMDR
Adults, teens, and children are equally susceptible to trauma—physical trauma, spiritual trauma, and emotional trauma. Trauma does not discriminate against gender, age, race, or any other demographic and it is extremely pervasive within our current culture. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) serves as an evidenced-based treatment model specifically for managing and healing from trauma. Sheree McDaniel is specially trained in EMDR and offers this service to her clients on an as needed basis.
